It may not impact you directly but these kind of federal "work arounds" impact us all. Just like trying to abolish the death penalty through the revocation of the lethal chemicals rather than trying to pass a law - one just needs a signature and the other requires politics (and, by the way, this is really happening, check the news). So let's quietly pass executive orders and policies and hope people don't notice.
Who is to say that Obooboo doesn't say that solid lead is a health hazzard and decide to ban bullets in America without any congressional approval just simply by having a "health czar" declare it so?
Oh, and if two guys want to play house, it's none of my business but if it skirts around federal law then it's wrong. It's not a lifestyle choice that I personally approve of but I agree that it's not a federal matter - that being said, though, currently it IS a federal matter and until that changes....
