I feel your pain bro. I have the same problem with my fine art. I have been to a few local art walks, but generally find my self separated from the "normal and cliche" cowboy and wildlife art. I have been labeled Low Brow and a bit militant too. Which I do not mind. We should start our own show. HAHAHA.

If you're willing to come to the Springs, a friend has an art gallery here (Modbo). If he'll let me and a friend teach a class on emergency medicine, he'll put your stuff on the wall.

PM me if you want to get in touch with him.

By the way - isn't that how liberals always are? The side of tolerance and diversity as long as you aren't any different than them.

Whereas the op is a poster-child for tolerance: anyone who doesn't like his art is a "liberal art f*g" and being forced to exhibit his work at street art festivals or punk rock type places is an affront to his dignity.

Hey, maybe they just don't like your work because they don't like your work. Get over it and move on. And post some pics. I'll show you mine if you show me yours

No one can help you with their contacts unless you post your work.

This. I like the art from both these guys, but that's my style. I can see it not being someone elses style.

So the question is, should we force the damn liberal art gallery owners to show your work? Because you're being persecuted for your beliefs, right? It's what the liberals would do, cry about it until they pass a law to display all the art.

I mean, did they say, "We're too liberal, and your scary uber conservative art with it's guns and dark colors scares us!" -- then OK you've got some justification to whine about libtards. Otherwise, maybe they just didn't want to show it? It's a pretty subjective area.
