That would be hard to do at the gunstore I frequent in Arvada, every employee there carries and a good 75% of customers do too... she wouldn't get far.
That sucks for that business though. Good thing they caught her on camera.

That was pretty hardcore... stolen vehicle, stealing an AR15 and a 9mm at a gun shop... holy sh!t...
I can only imagine having to shoot at someone... at the heat of the moment who's thinking straight, right?
But damn... walking in a gun shop and walking out with not one but two firearms and one of'em being an AR?! An AR!? that's not like something you can hide in your pocket or handbag or something...
There are some real freaken crazy people out there with a lot of guts, sh!t!

I'd like to know as well. Didn't see it in the story. Silver Bullet maybe?

I have to say- pure stupidity and laziness on the part of some or all employees at that shop. She's not even "checking out" the AR. It looks like the Glock is kind of piled on top of the AR, cradled in her arms. If I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing. Nobody in that shop at that time should have a job now. She also should have been tackled the second she crossed the thresh-hold of the door.

Everyone needs to calm down. She's just an ATF agent showing how lax our guns laws are so they can prove how easier it is to get guns to Mexico, that's all.

Why did they "let" her see then walk around the store with them?

Unless it was the shop owner that gave her both guns.....somebody would be looking for a job.

    G&G Guns on West Colfax.
9 news.com has a much better? report-just search for stolen rifle.

Ballsy big time on the perps behalf. They obviously had cased the place, she knew just what to ask for and how to do it. Probably batted her pig eyes at the clerk.

100% preventable. This is the store staffs fault entirely.
1-only one firearm presented to one customer at a time.
2-firearm stays at the counter and the salesperson NEVER turns his back or let's his eyes leave the firearm.

The fact of the staff or other customers being armed is irrelevant. In the ch9 vid a employee appears to draw his weapon and starts out the door. Obviously he made one smart decision in this incident and did not drop the hammer.
1500.00 worth of somebody elses firearms is not worth a homicide rap.
