TWC said NE. That was the most intense storm I have seen in a long time! I was getting nervous when the street flooded in under 20 minutes and the yard looks like it snowed. The poudre river was already full before this storm.
Alejandro's Discount Roofing Service will be knocking on your door in the morning.....
I can remember as a kid in OK, seeing hailstones as big as my fist. The yard was saturated, and those big bastards just slammed into the ground and stuck. Didn't bounce, just smacked a hole in the yard and stuck. Beat the living shit out of the whole town. I fear large hail.
That's what I'm worried about!
These are from last June.

I don't know how my cars did not get any dents or broken glass. I've got to get the garage cleaned out so I can park them inside from now on. Still, it wasn't was bad as Denver in '90. That was one of the few times in my life were I got lucky. My brand new car was low on gas so I took my wife's car to my job. It got over $2000 in damage. Quite a bit considering it was a used Hyundai we had bought for only $3500.
I remember, I voluntered to work all 4 of my days off that weekend gassing generators and what not trying to keep service for the people who had generators to power their TVs/PC's/phones. What a mess. My cousin lives 2 blocks south of Jim and her house was untouched, but the houses across the street from her were jacked up!
We didn't get as much damage down here a while back when it hailed like crazy, but we got a ton of it.
Yes that is hail. At my parents house that day. it was up to 3" deep in spots. The road in front of their house was at least 2" deep.
