the main area is a real mess but i have sort of gotten lane 2 in order (8 hours with a rake and 3 full trash bags later , but its a nicer lane to shoot in (as i have been told by many shooters ) .
wish i could make saturday (have plans to take my father out) but for those of you who cant make this one , feel free to meet me any monday or wednesday (yes ill be there tomorrow just like last week)
i always have a spare trash bag for a fellow shooter .
hope i dont sound like an ass and also hope you guys have fun and get tons done
Well you must be the reason the lane I was shooting in last weekend was relatively clean! Thank you for your efforts to keep our shooting area open.

    South Shooting Spot

    SOUTH SHOOT N39 08.603 W105 07.697 7864 ft
If you go to Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) and enter this GPS LAT/LONG (N39 08.603 W105 07.697) into the search block it will bring you to the location of the South Site.

Looking forward to seeing as many of you there as can make it!

Oh yeah, don't forget to bring your leaf rakes - it makes getting those pesky shotgun shell hulls together so much easier.

ETA: alxone: (1) You don't sound like an a$$; and (2) I can't thank you enough for your efforts for all shooters.

Spent a good amount of time last weekend picking up trash and steel and shells and bottles/cans/car parts (tail lights? really?) at the top of the hill, and hopefully left it better than I found it. I'm just thankful for a place to go and want to pitch in when I can. I'm out of town this weekend, otherwise I would love to help, I'll keep an eye out for the next cleaning day.

I'd be game if I didnt work saturdays. Im usually off wednesdays and sundays. Hope you guys have a good turnout.

It would be interesting to see if you get someone from the media to come out and cover a story of shooters cleaning up a range. I wouldnt care if my picture was taken, I have nothing to hide about being involved in firearms. Others may have different reservations about their pictures taken though.
