I did. Just haven't had time to call.
I did. Just haven't had time to call.
Ah. So what do you mean by you "want to be loaded?"
Know where the bull is and not in what their telling me.
The guys that I told you about in the PM... Miller and Emberly mainly... won't give you any BS. Like I said, it makes no difference to them whether you join or not, they see themselves as a way for you to enter the military if you so desire, not as a salesman trying to "sell" enlistment to you like most seem to. Best thing you can do is go with somebody that's been there done that, active or ex military. I'd go with ya if you were closer (or if you came down here)... I'm no expert but I've been hanging around the stations since middle school and have learned what's BS and what's not.
I just went full-on CQB and cleared my entire house room to room with a tac light strobe and .357.... turned out to be the A/C making funny noises, now I feel kind silly.
I've done that a bunch of times.LOL. I have another issue maybe you can help clear up for me. I have a genetic thing with my blood. I'm on blood thinners. It's not covered in the no-go category of AR 40-501
Chapter 2
Physical Standards for Enlistment, Appointment, and Induction
Should I tell the recruiters about it or leave it alone? It's kinda my choice to even be on the meds anyway.
Lol yeah I do it on a regular basis but usually its only when my dog tells me something's up, and then its usually a coyote outside... this time its just me being paranoid.
Hmm.... well with Emberley, its best to just tell him everything up front and he'll tell you what you shouldn't reveal at MEPS, not sure about the others though. I'd say that if you can survive fine without the meds, there's no need to bring it up.
Being in the military is easy... its getting in that's difficult. Once you're in you can get back on the meds, so if you can survive training without your meds with no issues I think that'd be the best way to go.
That's what I figured. They wont' let you take over the counters at basic will they?
Gotcha I'm guessing AIT is less strict and reg army is where I can get back on. Are you in right now?
