I don't understand how the passenger can get out so calmly, and then when the person in the back gets thwacked she just carries on... I hope the driver hangs!

I've been saying that for years. Public hangings would actually make people fear the punishment and not do wrong; unlike now most don't do wrong because it's wrong- the punishment: prison, seems to be "cool" these days so they don't fear that! If we did public hangings for severe crimes I'm sure our crime rate would go down.
But just thinking about that, if I witnessed that happen I would draw down on the driver, make them get out of the car and call the police. Hit and run is just BS! Those people should take responsibility for their actions.

Not only do the passengers and the driver of the car deserve jail time or worse. All the people that are witnesses seem to drive off as well!! What the hell is wrong with people these days!?

I used to work for a 24 hour glass / board up services years ago. We handled all the 7-11s in the Tidewater area of Virginia. I went to these types of calls at least once a month. It happens a lot, Not always people getting ran over, but a lot of "drive throughs".

There was a local one recently that I caught just the tail end of it on the news.Apparently some woman hit a little kid breaking his leg and some other injuries. She got out and retrieved her hubcap and then left the scene. The kid thought she was getting out to help him. WTF is wrong with people today ???

That said, there was a period where the Circle K around the corner from me got a car going through the front doors 3 times in about a month. The 2nd time occurred a week after the first, and the day after the doors were replaced.

wow that just pisses me off. those people need some serious punishment. I hope that guy that got hit owns everything the driver and passenger have.
