    0 experince with even seeing a person shot. I have used JHP ammo on rabbits and other small game out of a handgun. I know that Golden Sabers out of a 45 make a mess of cotton tails. Rifles with any kind of expanding bullets and there ain't much left.
    Do you think that your experince with gunshot wounds is typically FMJ ammo bigmatt?

    Like military 5.56 not being reliable to drop insurgents. I don't think it would be the same if they could use a 60 grain V max. I'd assume even arm and leg hits would be lethal pretty quick.

    I'm not sure, never found a bullet or stayed long enough for them to dig them out. All the pistol rounds could have been FMJs very easily, or Self defense loads for that matter. All we ever knew was pistol/rifle/shotgun, as that was easy to tell, and sometimes caliber. I know its not scientific, but dead vs. not-dead was enough ballistic table for me.

    all this info makes me thing a 4 inch barrel 870 with 00 buck is the perfect CCW!
