    service dog are great , the best one i ever met was named" lucky" , pretty funny as he was a bomb dog . i was pleased to have lucky check the buss everyday and felt a little safer because of it .

    Agreed, service dogs are so cool. Anyone hear about the Marine K9 that the DoD decided to give to the handler's family after the handler was KIA in Iraq? Pretty awesome story, the family petitioned for them to be able to adopt the only reminder of their lost love one- his comrade, buddy, and companion- and eventually the gov't agreed. Those dogs save so many lives.

    I used to climb at the New River in WV. Some of the access points were home made 30' ladders. One of the regulars had a similar set-up (below) for his dog. Made a dog harness with about a 5' length between his harness and the dog. The dog loved it.

    Thats just awesome! All my mutts do is play fetech ( not very well ether) and try to push my wife and i off the bed.
