    Yes it is. I am going to get mine back from the shop, and trade it in on a GSG 1911-22. I will post more when I go to the range.

    Thanks for the heads up. After handling one at a local shop, I wasn't planning on getting it.

    Buy a GSG 22 1911 you will not be dissapointed.

    <NEWSFLASH> The GSG-22 also suffers from the dreaded broken bushing syndrome. <NEWSFLASH>

    So far I have seen or heard of at least 8 GSG pistols with this same issue. It's not a big deal. Both Chiappa and GSG will send you a replacement bushing in the mail in less than a week. Don't sweat the small stuff!!

    I have more rounds though my gsg than my chiappa and have not had one issue with it, I am trying to see if it will do the same thing, and the nice thing about gsg it takes a normal 1911 bushing, the chiappa just looks like a 1911, the gsg is actualy built like one.
