In post #6 of that thread member alan0269 identified the fix - and still using IE9. Here's the post: http://www.co-ar15.com/forums/showpo...23&postcount=6

I second foxtrot's comments. You can access the site. You upgrade to IE9. You can no longer access this site (or have major issues once you do get here). Hmm. I'm no genius, but standard Sherlock Holmes deduction tells me the problem is not the site but IE9.
Test. I guess that works. I couldn't post before.

    Lightbulb

If you are having problems with Internet Explorer 9, try to go to your settings and reset them to their default values.

This is done by going to "tools" then "options" then "advanced"

There you will see "Reset Internet Explorer settings" with a button that reads "Reset".

Press the button and see if it resolves your issue. The issues people are having are related to new or changed security settings within IE9. IE9 is perfectly compatible with this website, only specific security settings may be interfering. This is also a good procedure as some "new" default security setting may increase your browser security overall.

Additionally you can add this site "co-ar15.com" to your trusted sites list, this will allow any content to bypass specific security settings. It should only be used on sites that are safe and preferably SSL secured (ie: https://) prefix.

    Guys
I was having the same problem--I couldn't post
There's a little blue box with a squiggly line thru it up at the top where the address thing is. It's left of the refresh button.
That is called a compatability button. I clicked on that and all is working fine now.
I don't know much about computers and I wish I hadn't downloaded IE9 but I'm afaid I'll screw things up if I try to get rid of it.
That compatability button seems to work fine so far though. I wouldn't have been able to post this if it didn't

    Default Problem Posting with IE9

I upgraded the wife's PC to IE9 and I noticed today that I could not post to the site when using IE9. I can at a title to a post or PM , but the message box is grayed out. I can type in the message box, but when I push submit no text registers with the site and I get an error. I'm writing this on my PC with IE7 and it works fine. Has anyone else had a problem?
