    Default A Kid named Kimber

I would like to know why Kimber 1911 pistals are so high in price. I have compared there 2000 dollar 1911 against my 800 dollar 1911 being a Desert Eagle, and also my Smith & Wesson that is very lightly used, and to be honest I do not see why they are so called better 1911's. I was just wondering if anyone can give me a good solid reason, why a guy would go spend 2000.00 on a kimber when it is sitting right next to a 1000.00 S&W or Sig. The frame to slide fit on my D.E and Smith is none just like any good quality 1911. I mean I know a guy that likes them so much he named his Daughter Kimber.

    It could just be preference.

I'm a Sig guy myself and I wouldn't spend $5 on a S&W much less the $1000 you mentioned. I'm sure someone would ask me why I would spend the bucks for a Sig over some other manufacturer.

A little off topic but there's nothing wrong with the name Kimber. That is all.

Kimber is an awesome name. I will never name my kid that though. I have a "friend" named Kimber, smoking hot, and we've done things that'd make a pornstar go "Damn!"... and I DO NOT want that to be my daughter lol.
