Cmon guys, that new Spiderman/hero clearly resembles Obama.
Well, what do you expect? I've read the the people behind Marvel Comics are quite the lefties and this is what lefties do, kill off all our heroes and give us new PC heroes to create diversity, equality and fairness. Besides, when you consider that it seems that Marvel Comics is less of a comic book company and more of a movie idea machine, I'm sure all of this plays into their goal to have Hollywierd glob on to even more of their characters. Come on, make him white, make him black, make him hispanic, but mixed? That screams "Obama" and "diversity". I'm sure gay is next.

I'm of a mixed background. Black, German, English and proud as hell of all of them. Any problems with that....pm me. It's a comic book for christs sake. The conspiracy theorist on this board would make Rosie O'donnel proud. Comic books have followed cultural trends since their inception. From wonder woman to daredevil. None of this is new

I think it's a comic book. I also think this country is more culturally blended than it was 50 years ago. Marvel or whoever else is all about selling their comics. They throw shock value in Superman dying, super hero vs, superhero etc to sell more copies. This had it's intended consequence......we are talking about it on co-AR. This is better than they could have possibly hoped.
