The cost of Colo Gun Market is what turned me off. I'd rather meet some cool people, sell or buy, and be able to have a forum for feedback than make or save a few bucks.

There is always armslist if i wanna got that route, I agree with the point of why pay to maybe sell something eventually. I have had many good transactions here, sure there is always someone that wants to lowball but even though I find it annoying I sldo respect it becuse im a haggler too (unless the ad states firm). The only thing I have found I can't stand is when you propose trade and you get absoultly no response back. To not give the person the respect of telling them to go f yourself, no thanks or what not the person is just being a asshole and I will never do business with them or even look at an ad they have posted.
I browsed ColoG for a couple years before finding coar15. I made a few transactions during those two years, and somehow always felt I came out on the wrong end of the deal. I understand that when you list something here, or anywhere for that matter, you have an amount you want for your item. Sometimes I'm willing to haggle, sometimes I'm not. But I have made many more transactions here in the short time I've been a member, and never felt bad about one of them.
I also think here you are going to get more lowball offers out of the gate simply because this is a free site. People that have less money to spend are going to look here. $25 bucks isnt a lot of money to most people, but I'd rather have $25 in ammo than to pay for ColoG.
Like it has already been stated, everyone I have met from here has been a good person, easy to talk to, and usually I end up spending at least a half hour talking to them afterwards. ColoG is a classified site, coar15 is a community.
I like CGM personally. The difference between there and here is that there is a very long shopping list of some cool weapons on there, very easy to just poke around and find something you like. Here, there are LOTS of things I like but nothing I'm really looking for many times. For instance I was looking for an AK47 and posted up on here an only found one person looking to unload one and it wasn't what I was looking for, but checking CGM I find them popping up pretty constantly, I just haven't found the brand, features and price I'm seeking.
Oh, and I haggle EVERYONE (TV's, washing machines, CGM sales, everyone).

So is the cost of CO Gun Market just a membership in RMGO or do you have to be a member AND pay more?
I see nothing wrong with requiring RMGO membership to sell on an RMGO site ... I do think if it were free there would be more traffic, but since they require people to put emails or phone numbers in ads you don't have to be a member to browse and buy, just sell.
I am a little disappointed that RMGO bought the Colorado CCW forum and shut it down.

Sadly the only things I have ever considered purchasing off of CGM, there was no phone number or email in the add, only through the site could you contact them... Needless to say I was not going to pay $$$ to ask a question.
