Thanks chevy, at least I'm not crazy I guess.

I think also if American History shows, the Irish, Scottish, and other immigrants from Europe were stoned, beaten, assaulted, mistreated and denied jobs when they first got here... look at us today though! We're not killing each other in record numbers, and 1/4 of us aren't in some form of corrections process (current or past).

Damn right. And some of this country's greatest leaders are from Scottish or Irish descent.
I am of mostly Scottish descent. My last name is a major city in Scotland. Oppression is nothing new. Our ancestors just chose to better themselves, rather than wallow in self pity for shit that happened a very long time ago.

Fortunately it never happened. The very idea of an Englishman having to sleep with someone from Scotchland, virgin or not...

It's SCOTLAND, please spell it right. And there is no proof of Prima Nocte either happening or not. I wouldn't put it past the Brits though.

Sorry, I'm a little out of practice when it comes to Latin.

No problem. I did study it in high school, but I only know enough to get by. You know, buy a paper, order a coffee, ask where the station or the American embassy is.
