Late Night Crew thread

I was watching some youtube videos of their refinishing. They stripped them down. Then sprayed with the krud remover stuff, brushed with boiling water and a brush to get the gook off. Then I think they dude more krud remover and baking soda and then sanded it lightly. Then they did the staining and then sealing with like linseed oil.

I wish someone locally has done it atleast once successfully and would maybe let me use their garage to do mine.

Just picked one up tonight, was planning on refinishing it but the stock is in pretty good shape, rich color, and all the numbers match... I can't bring myself to mess with it.

I definitely got lucky with this one. Like I said though you're welcome to shoot it as long as you bring that derringer of yours

I actually prefer working long (12+) shifts.

Agreed to on the long shifts 40 hour works weeks are boring.

I'll definitely try to make it... can't say for sure till it gets closer though.

Yeah with short shifts you start early enough to where you can't really sleep in for very long, and you get off too late to do anything fun but early enough that you get to sit home doing jack shit for hours, and you don't get nearly as much done at work. Its dumb.

I usually hit my 40 by the third day of my 4 day work week and than the OT kicks in it is a beautiful thing. Night guys gotta be bac,k to work by 10.

found out that 5 .45ACP fit perfectly on 8mm Mauser stripper clips. Now if i can just figure out how to load a mag with them I would be set
