Check out his facebook page. Surprised me. Be interesting to see what actually happened.
The rumors are hinting it wasnt his idea. Id find that hard to believe.
Sure wish I'd gotten the 34 deal done.![]()
mind you, since now I know that you have "connections", I now expect to be informed of said connections, right?

I haven't read Dave's site, but I would suspect it doesn't dwell into the details of the split. Pro shooter, and especially one as nice as Sevigny, isn't going to air that kind of info. It just isn't beneficial to future sponsership which is pretty much going to happen. Now its just a matter of who is going to give him the deal he wants and pick him up. If they are smart, they will put him on payroll.
And I suspect that may be where the rift with glock came from. Glock doesn't like to payroll their shooters. They cover expenses and guns, but doesn't pay them or position them within the company. Its sad really. They've lost more than one shooter over stuff like this. Back in the 50s and 60s, pro shooters were payrolled to represent a company all over the country. Now a lot of companies seem to want to sponser by sending the shooter some product now and then. These pros should be in their design departments when not shooting and helping them develop new and better designs. It seemed to work for Gaston origionally, guess the company forgot that.
Mom's comin' 'round to put it back the way it ought to be.
