That Camp FEMA guy is a bit weird. I could see some of it but most is a stretch. AR 210-35 covers labor of prisoners that are incarcerated by the Federal prison systems for use on Army bases for free labor. So People like CCA won't be able to get used as they are private prisons.

Now why 31E are called internment and resettlement specialist is beyond me and a bit scary sounding.
I still wouldn't trust the Gubinment.

My Grandma talks about these little camps all the time. She saw a couple youtube vids on it and she is pretty afraid. She has been digging around and said that Fort Carson has one of the biggest camps somewhere out east of town.

    Makes you wonder...

Most ARs are obsolete even if the most recent change (2005 for AR 210-35) falls under a relatively current date. There is a way around EVERYTHING that any AR states. There are very few ARs that the Army even abides by anymore.

One could also assume that a 31E is called an "Internment and Resettlement Specialist" due to the rash of politically correct name changes that came about since Guantanamo. I believe they used to be called "Corrections Specialists" before the whole Gitmo incident.

Now that bit of mystery is not beyond you. Furthermore, it will not be scary sounding to you or any civilians out there.

I've been to the alleged prison camp at Fort Dix, NJ. It is called Camp Cropper II, which is a mock up of Camp Cropper/Camp Bucca, the two internment facilities that were run in Iraq. Bucca was shut down and Cropper was turned over to the Iraqis.

They were training areas for people to work at the internment facilities. They hired local people to be detainees.

The camp in Trinidad is being restored for historical purposes. Those people here from Trinidad probably can speak on it better.

31E's are a different MOS than 31B's. The Echo's are cage kickers and the Bravo's are the working MP's.
“Every good citizen makes his country's honor his own, and cherishes it not only as precious but as sacred. He is willing to risk his life in its defense and is conscious that he gains protection while he gives it.” Andrew Jackson

A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America ' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it.

Cropper has not been fully turned over to the boogers yet.
