I'm just sick and tired of all the effing remakes.

Every year there are hundreds (if not thousands) of new novels written.
Every year there are hundreds (if not thousands) of screenplays written.
Plus, there is still a long backlog of good books and screenplays on the shelf that haven't been touched yet.

But here we go again ... another remake coming (ironically this one sounds like it could be good, but still).

And Johnny Depp is no William Powell (but it could be worse ... could be Leonardo DiCaprio).
