Actually they also came in white with gold lettering..... but I think that may have been '87. This one still has all of the sand cast covers that were only there in 1st year production. I bought it 20 some years ago. It's like art. Those original Gxsers, even without mods, were badass bikes.

Yeah they were I love the old rockets, and those v4's sound awsome, I was almost killed on a 86 VFR laid it down at 45 MPH, and my buddy had an 02 800 interceptor that thing had some torque. I am after a RC51 I love the way the v-twin rockets sound and ride. I think the white and gold was a special addition, but I could be wrong my brothers were the ones with all the interceptors, remember when the Hurricane was the fastest production bike made?

You should see what we do I have always liked racing cars, but there is no feeling in the world like racing a bike, there is no protection and thats were the fun comes in if you mess up its your life.

So here's what the bike looked like at my first race at PPIR (Pikes Peak International Raceway)

This is the affect of a slower rider turn right into me while I was wide open on 3rd gear of race 4 (I think race 4) at PMP (Pueblo Motorsports Park)
