Default Found my house broken into....

So I called Arvada police. Its vandalized and things stolen. So its been an hour and a half with no one showing up. Called dispatch he said they will get around to it verbatim. Everyone says imagine a world without cops I say imagine a world with cops who did their fucking job instead of filling quotas. Btw if a cop shows up do I have to tell him I'm carrying?

If the burglary isn't in progress, the call will not be a priority. At this point, if Arvada has an on line reporting system, you may as well use it. The report number will be useful for your insurance company. You do have insurance right?

I'm sorry you were victimized by someone who believed their need was greater than your right to be secure in your belongings. I hope you will recover quickly from your loss.

The police will never end crime. It is not likely anyone will ever be prosecuted for the crime. Hopefully, it will help the detectives identify some suspects and assist the cops in either driving the criminals into another jurisdiction or establish a pattern that will help catch them during a future crime.

    Criminals suck.

No, you don't have to inform them if you're carry.... but if they ask, don't lie. I'm sorry your house was broken into... No respect.... Hopefully the true valuables were in a safe. Let us know if we can do anything for ya.

Really sorry to hear that man. There is nothing worse than a fucking coward thief. I hope they find him. Actually I hope he wrecks his car on the way out of your house and loses use of his legs and he has to learn to cope with life from here on out.

Or maybe a spinal cord injury and he has to live with the humiliation of his mother wiping his ass and the humiliation that goes along with that.

Again Im sorry for your loss and violation of security at your home

    Danger said it all.

I'm sorry, man - I hope they didn't steal anything too difficult to replace.

Im not tryin to come across like a jerk at all. I like all of you guys...

But whether it was a tangible oblect or not, You cant replace the feeling of safety in your own home.

Someone told me that a long time ago, "When someone comes into your home, its like "Rape" of your security.

That cant be replaced. But you CAN do things to prevent it, cameras, IMHO, are the best thing you can do. Or an Ipod touch with a laptop and webcam left on

I've got a dollar that says if you told the police when you called that your house had been broken into and that you weren't sure if the burglars were still in there and that you were armed they would have been there in about 20 minutes.... thirty, tops.
