Ive heard Denver and Manitou(hippyville) are the two towns you cant open carry, but I have to believe a few other communist towns around denver work the same way. Its your legal right in most places of the state, so why be ashamed of it? Only ones it seems to terrorize is the kalifornia imports. The more people do it, the more it desensitizes them. I wouldnt do it all the time, as I believe it may create a situation that would of been avoided had you concealed it. Where I find the law handy is in case you are printing, it conceals bad, your shirt lifts, etc, you dont have to worry about being harassed as much. In Oklahoma, where there is no open carry law at all, if you print, or the gun becomes visible, you can be reported, and its up to law enforcement, and OSBI as to how much trouble you are facing. Perhaps some others with more first hand knowledge will chime in. If we googled every answer we seeked, there wouldnt be a need for this site, now would there??
I know 2 people that open carry...both of them do it cause girls "think it hot" or to get attention. The only time one comes to the range shooting is if a girl comes with him.
I would OC if it was the only option I had, other than that, I prefer nobody knows that I carry
Yes, you can open carry in all those places.
www.opencarry.org will set you straight.
The code posted before basically says that the government can limit open carry in government run areas. That includes city parks.
"There are no finger prints under water."
You have to watch out for annexed properties. Like over on South Wadsworth where the old Sportsmans Warehouse is. That is not Denver but Denver has annexed the property so if they catch you there you could be screwed.
My limited understanding is that it is legal outside of Denver, and actually legal in Denver since the state laws supersede the city laws but do fight that one.
That said, Carhartts have suddenly all dropped in size. I bought a few pairs last year in the exact same size I bought and still wore from the year before and the fuckers did not fit.
