Open Carrying

I'll be honest I usually OC, and really haven't seen anyone else do it around here. Springs, Fountain, Pueblo and never had issues. I was at APEX in colorado springs and some cops came in shopping for motorcycle stuff and left me alone even though it was obvious they knew I was carrying. As long as you're respecting the law, and in the case of OC keeping your firearm holstered there shouldn't ever be an issue with the law.

I have to agree with Sneakerd and TheInternet. I don't like to make it that obvious that I have a firearm on my hip. You mentioned you are too "cheap" to buy an OWB CC holster...really? There is a guy on the forums here that makes some pretty kick ass holsters for $55. I'm sure you spent atleast that on your IWB. Or, you can always go with an inexpensive Fobus holster ($26 average) or Uncle Mikes Kydex ($25 - $30).

Or...everyone here mail this guy $2 bucks and that should get you half-way there .

I "get it" why people want to open carry...but what I dont get, is why draw unneeded attention? Chances are you'll scare some tree-hugging, hippie liberal who will shit a chicken when they see your firearm who will then call police screaming, "THERE'S A MAN WITH A GUN!" Way I see it...only bad things can happen from there

yes ill agree that 99.9% of the time its more hassle that its worth , but believe me when unloading a truck full of military surplus and guns in the hood , it pays to have a large pistol on your hip .

its not like i carry any other time , hell if i lived in the burbs id do the same thing . there is no way im turning my back on a full truck of goodies with out being armed, i dont care where it is .
