you know that there is already a pistol comp in the works on oct.9 at south site . there will be prizes and all that good stuff and the best part is its free to compete!!

That would be cool, a set course, regional shoots then a state challenge? Maybe a "golden" wood gun trophy? 25, 50, 75, 100yd steel challenge NO BS run what you brung kinda thing.

Like I mentioned in the other thread, I'm in and I'll bring steel and a range finder to keep us honest. I'd prefer not to have to drive too far north.

I might have to go shopping for a long barrel N-frame Smith. The only one I have right now is an 8 3/8" Model 14 Combat Masterpiece in .38.

After seeing all the guys ring steel at 100yds with sub compacts like the Glock model 26 I dont think you need anything longer then 8"
