This was what I was trying to get to Atrain.
We have all ended up on the short end of a trade before.
    It stings.
    You learn and move on.
    Shit happens.

But being happy that the dude got ripped off puts you on the same level as him.
    It is cheap and petty.
    Be better than that.

With that being said- given the comments about this individual that other members have tossed out there it is pretty clear that he himself is a rip off artist. I would not doubt in the least that the sled that got stolen wasn't stolen in the first place, if in fact the story has any truth to it in the first place.

He sounds like bad news all the way around and you should out him here by name.
At least then we know who to stay away from.

I know what you are saying and I hope that dude that stole the bike gets his, cause that is just wrong I cant stand people that steal things. But I do see were you are coming from thanks I dont want to be on that guys level for sure. But now I am worried about trading my FNP9 for that WASR10 cause the guy is so quick to want to trade for the 9, and I do not want to get burned again.

    Trust your gut.
Overly eager and wanting to hurry a deal is a red flag to me.

Just had a similar deal. I traded something to another board member that I had no idea was defective. I told him before I traded it to him that I had not even had the chance to shoot it and it was a new trade I just got. After receiving it he found that the grip safety was defective. Although I did tell him that I really had no knowledge on the pistol and that I had not even shot it I still felt responsible for it. I recieved the gun in on good faith and traded it in good faith. I got ahold of Rob @ BPTac and he hooked me up and the board member I traded it to. Rob saved the deal for me. Without him I would have been out on my ass. He even worked on a gun that he hates. Thats a standup guy for ya.

I could have easily said "sorry I told you I hadn't shot it and had no knowledge about it. Better luck next time." But what it cost me to get it fixed is nothing compared to my word. I was raised on your only as good as your word. Its what you do to fix the problem is what really counts.
