No price? Not in standards with the rules and your ad goes bye-bye. If there are not pictures, that's the seller's problem, I barley look at ads with no pics unless I know the poster is a "regular", or the item is a Glock or other current production item, even that's annoying.

Now if you are trying to sell your International Harvester M1 Garand for $1800, with a one line ad with no pics, then you clearly don't want your item sold in a timely manner.

However in this case the public is still safe and democracy will still be here in the morning.

I have always thought this was a great idea but thought it best if it was posted by one of our famous Mods.
If not for market prices at least we can see what other sellers are ASKING for their items...... Thanks to the Ginsue for agreeing!

I bow at the feet of the almighty Ginsue...JK man I honestly never thought to check the sold Items to value my own sale, I have ether checked to see how bad people were trying rip others off on Armslist and GB the usually marked my down by 25-30%. but I see the point and I stand corrected.

Yes they could be used for this if the prices were left in the ad, but most times the price is edited to either SPF or sold.

SideshowBob brings up a very good, well thought out, valid point.

I delete the price and mark it SPF moving to SOLD after the deal is sealed. I do keep the price agreed upon in the pm or e-m back and forth so there is no misunderstanding. Yet to have any issues as buyer or seller.
I have had an e-m or 2 asking what the sale price was, usually from some one who tried to low ball me, using the well my friend brought one for X less than you are selling for. Unless the seller or buyer want's to post what we agreed upon it is really no one's business outside the deal.

He was referencing what Ginsue said about leaving the ad up so people can use that as maybe a rough price for thier Items that they want to sell, you can't get the price if the OP marks it as spf or sold and deletes the price out of the ad. Therfore its pointless to keep the thread up and it shoud be deleted

I have also had this happen, bothas a seller and a buyer, and even posted in the thread.
If I am the seller I leave it up to the buyer,if he/she wants to post how badly I took them for.
If I am the buyer I just ignore them, it is none of their business what I got taken for.
