I used to listen to AM talk radio all the time, but now I only listen to NPR. I find the non-political news stories very interesting. Occasionally, they'll have some liberal BS on there, but I can take them now and then. The other day, the BBC had Al Gore on for an interview, and the British interviewer was being a dick to Gore (from what I heard anyway). I thought it was pretty funny.
In the morning, we go back and forth between NPR and the KS 107.5 morning shoe. Those guys can be pretty funny, but as soon as the music starts, I have to change it lest I drive off a bridge.

They had a story on about some kid getting in trouble with the law for having PICTURES of guns on his myspace. They never once mentioned that no crime was being committed.
They also advocated opening car doors on motorcycles lane splitting.
