This was my last day at the track a few years ago. I miss it.

What is wrong with setting off car alarms? There is nothing like the sound of a nice throaty V-twin.

I belonged to Sin City Sportbikes when I lived in Vegas. Great club at the time. I now know noone anymore who is in it.

If you're referring to Martin, he went down hard at the same track day. He's still healing up as I understand it.

I know enough about that track to know there is a crazy long straightaway that runs along part of Hwy 36. What kind of speeds do you hit on that part of the track? Just curious.

By the way, you sport bike guys are nuts.

OH Sh!t... Martin has a pretty good tendency of testing his limits... and going down. I gotta give him a call and see how he's doing... We've got the same bikes 03' GSXR1000 with set ups that are close to identical.

I've reached the speedo's max at 185 mph on my bike and had the tach needle still moving 10000 to 13000 rpms to the end of the tracks straight. I know the experts are hitting that 200 mph barrier with their well prepped bikes. Those guys pass me like I was standing still on that straight.

Awesome pics, always wanted to get into racing like that. I tried when I was in the Navy, but all the regulations to just to be able to ride a bike turned me off to ever doing it.
