I like the show for the only reason that I enjoy watching the competition with various weapon systems; I can appreciate what it take to pick up something, adapt, and compete. I have no desire to watch or be involved in drama; hate it actually.


I think Jake was a talented individual but lacked the capacity for sportsmanship ((conduct (as fairness, respect for one's opponent, and graciousness in winning or losing) becoming to one participating in sports.)) I don’t think a kill or be killed mentality is going to work in a competition like this. It is more of a gentleman's competition to see who is best.

I couldn't stand the guy. It really had nothing to do with the fact that he wanted to get rid of his biggest competition first. It's a competition with a large cash prize and I think the anyone who wants to get rid of the weakest first isn't playing the game right. It has nothing to do with chivalry or whatever they wanted to call it. Trying to eliminate your best competition first is being competitive, not being a coward. When you watch college football do you route for your rivals in other games hoping they will still be strong as can be when they face your team? Hell no! I kind of felt like they all teamed up against him for doing something that wasn't wrong and then kept coming at him for it. I didn't feel that was fair since it's a competition.

His attitude is what got me. The guy was just a prick. I hated to think he had kids and was teaching them some of his 'thoughts' on life. I just hope they are smart enough to know better and learn to NOT be like their father because he's the epitome of douchebaggery. George from last season was a saint compared to this jerk ass.

Driven people have been called crazy by the undriven since the beginning of time. This guy from a humble background has achieved more by age 25 than 99.9% of his critics.

After reading that interview 2 things are confirmed. It should be called "Unreality TV". Secondly if his intention was for the viewing audience not to forget him, he achieved that.

As Rush always says, "Highlight absurdity with absurdity".

The Holiday Inn Express experts are a joke.

So a guy who quit from a TV show and was cast in a negative light is trying to discredit the very source of his unhappiness? Doesn't sound like a very credible source.

I hope this hurts his ego. But I watch it on HULU and I just skip over the talking and the drama and just watch the shooting. The only reason I knew he quit is because he wasn't there at the end and I had to go back to find out why. And that was my first impression of him. Maybe, it was a bad day but he quit instead of fighting it out. Doesn't sound all the tough to me. Anyone of us could have stuck around to the end and been his better. I really hate the ones the puss out early claiming mentral cramps or whatever. Why bother trying out if that is the way you are going to be.

I loved the fact that Jakes whole goal was to knock Mike out, he did so, and then he dropped out because the going got rough and then they brought mike back and gave him another chance which he won.
