Girlscouts? Hmmm, I don't know... I think it's kinda dangerous to teach young girls self esteem and leadership skills.
With all the available variations of that "dual sling attachment ring", some pics would be really useful, but frankly - MB888 pretty much explained it...
Feedback or what left of it after a Great Crash of 2012.

He got it covered. Didn't want to call it castle nut to only find out that's something else. Was a quick post from alternative means because I was also in the middle of reformatting and/or being a zombie @ 2am.
Was the dual sling loop kind. Guess I need a spare normal plate unless I also swap out the one on LWRC. With my luck the LWRC will be loctited on or something so I have to blow torch it almost. Have that problem with the Troy BUIS I was going to take off and sell for a pretty penny and swap out for magpul ones for half the cost.
Was happy to recover my selector spring retaining pin or whatever, stays in the LWRC pretty tight so I didn't notice it fall out of the dpms. Took me a few minutes wondering why my selector would spin loosely and some compare/contrast to figure out what was missing.
Please tell me that the 19d in your name is a breast size and not the "S" Word.![]()
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
Haw haw haw?..
I recognize that lower you are asking about. You will not need anything but a DPMS multi-tool to remove the castle nut. If you would like I could meet you somewhere and swap out the Ambi-sling attachment for you with regular buffer plate, I have the correct tool. It will take 5 minutes. I will even trade you a "castle looking" castle nut for the single hole one on the lower, if that one is bothering you, they work the same way they just look different.
I think I have it taken care of, thought the castle nut tools were the overpriced $90 ones. Can get em online cheap. For now I think I'll before work go to Rocky Mountain when I run some other errands, see if I can borrow theirs real quick or what they want. Failing that pick one up at Jensens when I grab a UBR stock (In all my part swapping forgot I sold my original VLTOR). Won't be the last time I need one probably so not a bad idea to have and that way I dont have to try and find time with my bizzare schedule that fits others. Thanks for the offer, and if things go awry maybe I'll hit you up after all.
Wished that sling mount fit with the slidefire. One thing I hate about that stock is no sling mounts so figured it would be perfect. I still may see if it's possible to just drill out room on the stock for one side's sling point.
