    What's your source on this?

    I've read different reports in the last 3 years as to how he was captured. CNN originally reported he was drunk off base and captured while wandering around, citing the original Taliban report. The AP reported he'd gone missing after falling behind during a patrol (citing Wikileaked documents). DoD has apparently made no formal statement of exactly how he was captured (at least that I could locate).

    He's been promoted twice during his captivity.

    Once again the Obama administration all about appeasement. That's why the international community was all gung ho about having him as a president. Bush never put up with their bullshit, that's why they didn't like him
