Anybody ever done a trade online? The other guy has good feedback on the other sight. Any tips to keep it safe? Or is this a stupid choice?

The best way to do it and be safe for both parties is to use a 3rd person. Both send their stuff to him and when he has everything he forwards it to the end parties. Thus everyone gets their stuff.

This does take extra time and money. It doesn't guarantee that everything is as described.

I have done a couple with guys from the FAL Files. Worked out quite well but always was nervous.

I did a trade with a guy at AR15.com it was my first and went very well I got his phone number and the number of his ffl I stayed in constant contact with both for the entire deal. Having him ship it from his ffl made mw feel a lot better. They good be good buddys and try to pull a fast one but I felt a lot better having two people say that it shipped. If you find a guy that has what you want and good feed back I say go for it. But if your gut says no or your having second thoughts I wouldn't risk it.

I've done several over on arfcom but I was the "seller" of the trade item and had the other guy send me his trade before I sent my item off. Always worked out good but I'd be nervous the other way around.

I've done it a bunch of tmes. I have never been burned one time but I only deal with long time members. If he's a new guy, he ships first, period.

I did a trade on another forum, our items crossed in the mail. You just have to trust the person you're dealing with.

You said the guy had good feedback, I'd do the trade.
