Modern liberalism is based on the idea that reality is obligated to conform to one's beliefs because; "I have the right to believe whatever I want".
"Everything the State says is a lie, and everything it has it has stolen.
-Friedrich Nietzsche
"Every time something really bad happens, people cry out for safety, and the government answers by taking rights away from good people."

A World Without Guns <- Great Read!
I usually have 3 to 4 books going at a time. As one slows down, I'll pick up another. I'll discard books early if they don't grab me, especially if the writing is poor.
Currently reading:
The Coldest Winter by David Halberstam (America's Korean War)
Until the Sea Shall Free Them by Robert Frump (in depth look at the working of the modern merchant marine through a tragedy)
To End All Wars: A Story of Loyalty and Rebellion, 1914-1918 by Adam Hochschild (the most thoughtful look at war I've read in a long time)
If I was going to recommend a book to you all, it would be the one below. The writing style is fresh and powerful, if a bit unpolished. Also my son is featured in it, as it was written by one of his platoon mates during their first tour. Also there is a link to a video except.
