I think it's a self correcting problem eventually, one day these kids will grow up and catch the ass beating of a life time for talking to someone like that. As opposed to learning that lesson from your parents/other kids when you are young this no tolerance for any sort of authority and righteous ass whoopins is going to make life hard on those kids.

I would start talking to myself like Milton from Office Space.

From the sound of the dialect, I doubt any parenting was involved.

This is what happens when there are no rules. This is what happens when parents are more afraid of their kids than the other way around.

This is an exact example of why I chose to never have kids - it would be impossible to raise them correctly in today's environments.
What is my joy if all hands, even the unclean, can reach into it? What is my wisdom, if even the fools can dictate to me? What is my freedom, if all creatures, even the botched and impotent, are my masters? What is my life, if I am but to bow, to agree and to obey?

Imagine how this story would have been told and heard differently had one of these "children" not videoed the incident and posted that video on the Internet.

Without video proof, provided by one of the perpetrators, Mrs. Klein could have reported the incident. Given our society's litigious nature, my guess is that her complaint would have fallen on deaf ears. "My little Johnny would never say those kinds of things."

As I was watching the video, I kept asking myself why Mrs. Klein didn't walk to the front of the bus, ask the driver to pull over and contact the school authorities and report the inappropriate conduct of these "children." Then I realized, by the time the authorities arrived, Johnny and Billy would have lied and possibly claimed that it was Mrs. Klein who was abusive toward them. Without any video proof and facing four or more eyewitnesses all supporting their version of the incident, Mrs. Klein would probably lose her job and possibly face charges herself.

I am sad to say, that we adults, both in this generation and the last, have so empowered "children" that many adults in positions of authority over children are now afraid of those very same "children." We have pushed the pendulum so far on the side of empowering "children" that we have now allowed the worst nature within "children" to control and abuse adults who should be directing and guiding those "children."

What this video showed was Lord of the Flies. The behavior is nothing new for anyone who has ever watched "group think" take over an otherwise normal, rational group of individuals. This is how mob mentality works. One person pushes at the boundary and others within the group then compete to see who can push the farthest.

Thank God for video and the stupidity of the perpetrator who posted it in a publicly accessible place. Mrs. Klein survived and in uncharacteristic fashion may actually be compensated for her ordeal. So many others who deal with children everyday are not so lucky. Many adults have lost their careers and literally lost their whole lives to the vicious human nature of "children."

    Be safe.

Bad parenting! These kids should not act like this to anyone let alone an adult, but I've seen crap like this from kids towards older people since I was a teen. Probably doesn't help that the State doesn't allow you to spank or put the belt to your kids behinds anymore. My dad never allowed me to act like this and I won't allow my kids.
