“That’s a killer right there. That small gun,” said Chicago Police Sgt. Kevin Johnson, a member of the citywide Anti-Gun Enforcement Team. “It’s a North American Arms .22 caliber,” Johnson said. “That bullet is so small it will bounce. It will travel and you’ll have internal bleeding going throughout your body.”

I wish I had the opportunity to tell Sgt Johnson he was a dumbass.

Well, I lived in the Chicago metro area for well over 25 years and I truly believe that a good number of the better "turn in" guns will soon be in the homes of some of the cop's relatives. That's just how it normally works in Chicago.

Sadly, this anti-gun mentality is somewhat prevalent amongst many in the Law Enforcement Community.

Soldiers in my unit have regurgitated that same BS about .22's bouncing around inside of you... they also say that it will penetrate sapi plates.... Can we incorporate a "Ballistics 101" class into basic training too, please?

I have also heard soldiers say that an M4 cannot engage somebody past 300m, and that there is no such thing as trigger reset, and that a .50 BMG round passing near your body will kill you, and that it always takes several COM hits with a 5.56 to stop somebody but even a peripheral hit with 7.62 NATO will stop them dead in their tracks...

Oh and in case you didn't know, all 7.62 rounds are the same, apparently. 7.62x39, 7.62x51, 7.62x54r, 30-06 etc... all the same...

    UGGGHHH!!!!!!
SOMEBODY PLEEEAAASSSEEE shoot me!! (But not with a 5.56, because that won't work. Nope, I want the uber deadly .22lr.)
You want to be a martyr, I want to make you one.

Believe in natural consequences, Darwin's ideas may be debated by scientist and Christian alike, but he had a good saying.......
"The rifle itself has no moral stature, since it has no will of its own. Naturally, it may be used by evil men for evil purposes, but there are more good men than evil, and while the latter cannot be persuaded to the path of righteousness by propaganda, they can certainly be corrected by good men with rifles. --Jeff Cooper"

I need to buy a holster for my p22 now. It is apparently more effective than anything else I own.. All these years debating 9mm v. .45acp.. and we were all just wrong.

All I have to say is WOW. Kids these days will believe anything. And for the 50 BMG theory, that is why Keano Reaves should be shot for filming the matrix. LOL

I shoulda saved all the money I've spent over the years on assault rifles and just bought a couple extra 22LR's
