Road hogs present a major safety hazard to the general public by means of being the number 1 cause of road rage related incidents. There is nothing that pisses me off more than the idiot who decides to maintain the left lane doing well below the speed limit while driving the exact same speed as the idiot next to them.

I take I70 W from 470 every day. And just about everyday there is some asshat that decides to hold the left lane and run 55 mph dead even with a semi next to them making everyone on the highway have to go 55 MPH despite the 75 MPH speed limit.

While I agree with you that this needs to be enforced...I see the real problem being that our roads are not adequate for the amount of vehicles on them. I-25 should be a minimum of 3 lanes each way all the way thru the state. I-70 should as well. In Denver metro (Ft Collins thru Colo Springs) they both should be 4 and probably 5 lanes each way. C-470 should be 3 to 4 lanes each way and regardless of what Golden wants it should be completed to a full loop.

This is the obvious root of the problem... either that or we need to tell Commiefornia that their people are no longer welcome here. I would love to see this fixed, but I don't see it getting done with budgetary concerns as they are these days. That's really what needs to happen though. Houston and even that shitty shitty place we call Los Angeles, have 3 or more lanes in the areas that need it.

The tree hugger agenda would rather continue to spend the money on a rail system.

Thanks you, Muffy, P.S. I just moved here from California.

Wait was that implying I'm from CA? Careful, I might take offense to that. And on a side note, it is a bit- what's the word- underhanded (toned down from what I wanted to really say) to imply that submitting a letter to CSP just asking if they can either A) try if possible to enforce a law a bit more OR B) assist in educating the public about the existence of said law more is somehow akin to asking the "powers that be" to do something about the weather. I dunno, but that seems like a ludicrous leap to me... kinda reminds me of some of the stuff that gets thrown around in 3rd grade classrooms when one kid attempts to pick on another. <--IE: the word Stupid does come to mind in describing said leap.

The Weather Channel is in charge of that particular thermostat

Maybe they have issues like fires and dui and speeding and drug trafficing that they are dealing with.

There are more people in the state and it IS the summer time where people are on vacation and not worried about your 5 minutes because they are on day long trips. Why don't you maneuver around them? If you can't because traffic is that contested then do some PLANNING and leave sooner.
Besides, if you are late is your dad going to fire you? Or will all the bandwidth get sucked up when the female coworker with the streaming radio gets there ahead of you and listens to some morning tunes?

Here's how you resolve the issue that day, IF you see a potential situation on the road.
