Terry Barton should have gotten the death penalty for starting the Hayman fire.
The MAFFS C-130s are joining the fight today.
Seems like there was a thread in April linking to a local station's story about MAFFS training at Peterson. Was it COAR's own Hoser that made an appearance in that piece? I think the thread was disappeared in the great rewind

The Gazette is reporting gas stations are running out in Woodland Park and they are organizing a convey of fuel trucks to come down 67 from Denver since 24 is closed. Or they might let a convey come up Ute Pass but that is not clear yet.
Reason to prep #919 - If a fire shuts down your main road, gas may run out in a couple days. Not to self...Keep tanks and jerry cans FULL.

Some ash here & the sun hath been blotted out. Can't breathe but no embers yet.
Also: This picture was taken by a friend just past the North Gate exit on I-25. That stadium is the Air Force Academy's stadium.
I misspoke... I meant ash but embers is what came to mind when I was typing. Sorry for the confusion!
