thanks guys i love it so far, i can't wait to try it out. the bore is nice and sharp just a little frosty but that doesn't bother me at all. fortunately i was able to remove the barrel without galling the chamber journal (galling happens often with yugos)

Everybody should have an RPK. Already having a Yugo RPK I was willing to deal. It's a solid AK and should be a good shooter.

I'm contemplating turning the NHM-91 into a poor man's Tabuk.

There really should be an AK related section of the trading post. Firearms already have a slot but a swap oriented one would be good. Even the non-builders here are swapping out furniture optics & such.

Is it just me, or does the title of this thread almost sound like a Rachel Ray recipe?

    Very nice RPK, regardless!

Add hand select foreign parts, organically made, then miz gently with a home grown 922 compliant receiver. There are othere youi can use, yet in the long run this addition will allow it to maintain a longer shelf life.

Remember additional parts should be eyeballed prior to use them mix well.
That's it for this week. See you on Wednesday for a July 4th USA special, or as we in the Ray family call it 922 Compliant 101, right here on Rachael rays food network

Nhm's are a nice platform for a tabuk type rifle, I think they look Better as dmr's than skinny little rpk's. Also I completely agree with the parts swap section, someone with pull around here should propose that with a mod it could have a terms agreement sticky too

Rpk's are pretty heavy when it comes
To caloric intake, a typical rpk has around 1500 calories, the sugar isn't high but lots of saturated fat lol
