Not a frequent consumer but when I do it's Laughing Lab or Guinness.

Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest when it is in season. Discovered it on tap at a bar in Sheboygan many moons ago. Hands down the best Oktoberfest brew.

"The Hacker-Pschorr Oktoberfest Märzen is billed as the original Oktoberfest since it was brewmaster Joseph Pschorr who was commissioned by Ludwig I, the Crown Prince of Bavaria, to develop special brews to commemorate the occasion of Ludwig I’s wedding in Munich in 1810. The beer was so good that the party lasted for days and Oktoberfest beer was born. Today, Hacker-Pschorr is one of the six brewers allowed to serve its beer in Munich during Oktoberfest."

For some reason the Laughing Lab that has been mentioned several times tastes extra good when consumed at the Tilted Kilt downtown.

Avery Reverend. Not for the faint of heart, or those who intend on driving afterwards.

I am a beer aficionado myself. I grew up in NY and being Irish, we always hung out at the Irish Pubs. Guinness and Harp were the beers of choice for most of my life. Bass is damn good too.

After moving to CO in my early 20's (early 90's) the micro-brew exlosion was in full swing and I tried them all. I got into the New Belgium products, then this, then that, then the other thing. My brother and I even brewed a few good batches of ambers ourselves.

Then I got a kegerator. Best beer decision I ever made BTW. I was spending $150+ for a keg of premium beer (that lasts about a month).

Then I was at a BBQ and the host had a keg in his kegerator and it was a damn good beer. Not heavy or bloating, not watery and no-tasty like Bud and Coors. It was PBR. I was floored

I've had PBR in my kegerator every since for every day use. $85 a keg. Special occasions get special beer.

Lots of guys will scoff at this, but remember...PBR won a Gold Medal in 1896 or something...LOL!

I like Miller 64 quite a bit. It's 64 calories, like a diet beer or something. It's also only 2.8% abv, so I don't get drunk, I like that about it. Just cool and refreshing and easy to drink. Pretty cheap, too.

Yeah, PBR is just "normal" abv which I like as well. I don't feel the need to get wasted after 3 or 4 beers anymore. <getting old I guess>
