If someone stole my manger scene from my Christmas display I wouldnt consider it a hate crime, I would consider it some dumb fucking people that were low lives took it. There is a matter of principle that someone went on your property and took something that was yours, which like everyone here has agreed its wrong. Doesn't an item have to exceed a certain dollar amount before its considered a theft worthy of prosecution or suit?(honestly not sure on this one, just want if heard dunno...) Cry a river, build a bridge, and get over it.

This is highlighting how absurd the "Hate Crime" stature is. I believe that was one of bellavites points from the get go.
Stupid or not his beliefs should be protected as anyone else would be.

YES! This exactly, Wiggity, that's the point he's trying to make, I think, that people see how absurd this is and go "wow, hate crime is kinda a dumb thing." 'Course ya know the majority is too dumb to draw that conclusion. But the overall point here is that his property was trespassed upon and vandalized (albeit small, but where do we draw the line?), and Luigi believes (correct me if I'm wrong) that there would be a huge outcry if it was Catholic or Jewish, but because he's a non-conformist Satanist, it's no big deal right? Bullshit, equality is a two way street.

BTW- for the record, I don't know what they were subjected to, but I went to the same high school as Trey Parker and I don't have that kind of genius for comedy...
