Getting good, raaaaarr!
I dont care who it is, this still does not qualify as a hate crime, except in the eyes of the accuser. The poster that was torn down allegedly said "vote satan", but made no reference to any religion. It made a political statement, therefore, it was not an attack on his religion. The reason I worded that it was allegedly, is because, we saw a picture of a poster that resembled it, but we have no idea what was really there when the poster was torn down. It could have said "satan is god", then it would be a hate crime, but then it may have said "vote satan", or may have said "free candy" at the time of its removal. We have only circumstantial evidence.

I look at it like this. As many have said; Good, bad, right or wrong I will defend your right to say it.
I do not think anyone of the staff has deleted any posts in any of the threads relating to this topic. Even though new ones keep popping up like weeds I truly believe that a few members just want a chance to go on about it.
We have let them run there course until they become one big "ME TOO!!!"
So after feeling they have run there course I have closed them. I am not alone in this thought. I believe this is the 4th thread on the subject. Are the members that bored that all they can do is drag it up again?![]()
Tell ya what. I will leave this open to comments for the evening. If any think I am being heavy handed I welcome you to try this trick on other Firearms forums.
I just happen to be the Hatchet Man these days but it is not done without a vote if ya catch my drift.![]()
I see you running, tell me what your running from
Nobody's coming, what ya do that was so wrong.
Jerry, well put! This is one of the few places (if not the ONLY) on the interwebz that will allow some of the things that go on to just slide... Yes this horse has been beaten pretty hard, but I think it shows with 4 threads that it's not dead yet. It's kind of a hot button issue involving one of our fellow members, who I think we can all safely say regardless of meeting him in person or not (I'm in the not category but hope to change that) we support him regardless of his religious or spiritual affiliations. I firmly believe the underlying theme to this issue is that Luigi is pointing out the hypocracy and inequality in our society that is supposed to be so tolerant. Simply put, in the words of Ridge "Promote tolerance!" You may not agree with it, you may think his going about the situation is dumb, but in the end, is he not an American like us? Entitled to the same justice as the rest of us enjoy?
