    Default SIG Elite?

What all is different between a 226 and 226 elite? I just bought a 226 elite scorpion, pretty fricken sick gun haha. I know the srt trigger and beavertail but anything else? I went to sportsmans and the had one with 2 mags for $1099, so i bought one NIB off gunbroker with 3 mags and a sig holster with N/S's for $949! I had seen the scorpion 1911's but didnt know they even had the 226 until i seen it at sportsmans.

That's awesome! I have an old 226 and a new one with the SRT and new ergo grip. Love my Sigs, but now I have Scorpion envy!

Elite - Beavertail, SRT, front strap checkering and front slide cocking serrations.
    Scorpion - FDE and grips

My Sigs are awesome shooters. I'm not too bad with them either.

I recently pick up P220 stainless elite. Been on the Sig lookout recently on Gunbroker. Have noticed that some of the auctions have been very reasonable for a variety of pistols. For example this dealer http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Bro...Sellers=788206 has had some crazy deals on auctions that have started at no reserve. Basically going for a lot lower most of the time than the buy it now options.

Ok so i finally cleaned and im running some snap caps to get used to the da/sa trigger which is actually pretty damn smooth and light! But the SRT is questionable, its still a longer reset then a Glock? But overall i like it.

Because it is a true DA/SA and a SIG. You're in sigland Travis, you're getting sleepy and soon that bad glock gun will be a distant memory, Now sleep, sleep, that's it.

FDE, you know how i feel about it so why bother. Although having handled one today the FDE wasn't that bad. They are real nice guns, no matter what color.

Can anyone explain what the SRT is. It is used frequently in this thread to explain differences, but I don't think it is a standard non sig feature.

    Thanks
