I think the last time I even got a "professional" haircut was 1991. Since then it's either been 3/4 of the way down my back or, shaved.

Went to Rooster's Barber Shop yesterday in Aurora, at Chambers and Smoky Hill. Very nice experience. They really spent some money on the interior of the place, it's really nice. Best haircut I've had in a long time too. Haircut includes a shampoo - all the stations have a sink built in which I thought was pretty cool. Afterward, she shaved (not clippered) my neck and slapped it with moisturizer and aftershave. Oh, it was not cheap. $25, minus $4 for military/LE discount. Worth every penny.

I started shaving my head because of the lack of quality haircuts to be had. There's one decent place in town, Rooster's, but that's at least $20 and I'm not going to pay it.

I'd kill for a decently priced barber.

Have not been there in a few years but The Coronado, across from the courthouse. Stephanie owns or use to own it. If you go there let her know Jim(tattoos) said to drop in. Stephanie says this is a barbershop not some foo foo hair place.

Cutters Den at University and Dry Creek is great. LeAnne is a great barber. I've been going to her for about 10 years.

They have coupons on their website, http://www.cuttersden.com/. I can't remember the cost about $15 I think.

So? I resurrected it because I found a barber I like. Boy, there sure are a lot of unofficial moderators around here. I bet if I had started a new thread about it, I would have been chastised for that too.
