    Not a tie rod. The tie rod is in the 2nd photo still there, it goes diagonally through the pic.

    forgive me, cause I should know this.. but disconnecting the sway bars allows for more wheel travel?

    if I rub under certain circumstances already, that might not be a great idea for this truck? I wheel probably like 3 to 5 times a year.... not near enough as I should...

    yes, buy the disconnecting models and you can use it on or off road with max flex.

    something like this. although there are many brands and models.

    it allows the wheels to have more individual articulation

    It is fine to run a leaf-sprung vehicle without swaybars. They are kind of useless actually. If you have coil spring suspension they are ABSOLUTELY needed on the front end. Not so much the rear. Just get some quick-discos and you are good to go.

    yeah it doesnt have leafs in the front. (I wish...)
