Lot of "sensitive" members. Don't wave, your just plain rude and a meany. We should know what kind of vehicle you drive, this way we can wave at everyone. If not would we be rude? Really, what age demographic are you in?
Look either you do or don't wave, flip off or just ignore another rider. I see one on the side of the road i slow down, or pull over if they need assistance. I've never been bent out of shape because someone didn't wave to me. 38 years in the saddle and i don't sweat the light shit.
    YMMV

"but, but, you have to wave at me! I went out and bought a bike, so I could try and fit in, I used to get beat up in school, the AV club would take my lunch money, I spent lots of money on all this gear, I have a huge payment, the dealer said I would have lots of new bike riding friends"

unbelievable. grow up you pussies. if someone doesnt wave at you, why the hell would you really care? Unless she was hot and stacked. Then you can be bummed out. But, of course her real biker boyfriend would probably snap you like a twig.

so, dont sweat it, if people dont wave. go home to your mom to get your ego boost. tell her how you won the 4 th grade miss congeniality award.

as far as helping other bikers, i help anyone, biker or not. I have stopped on i25 and drove 80 miles out of my way to take a guys bike home in my truck, when he broke down. I have driven way out of my way with slurpee cups filled with gas in my lap, to help bikers who were out of gas. I just dont like to wave.

Oh that's right, because you don't care about being rude to other riders. I guess you'll just keep on thinking I'm stupid for waving at you an I'm gonna keep on thinking you're a rude asshole for not waving.
So, in your mind, there is absolutely no justification not to wave at someone while riding? That's really quite astounding.

Furthermore, you apparently didn't read the entire thread. Or maybe you can't comprehend what others are saying. Like this:

If you can't understand that someone might not wave for a variety of reasons you're not a safe rider. Or a smart rider. Or maybe you're just too close-minded to even attempt to see the other side of an argument.

    Whatever...
