    Default RIDDLE: Land of Liars

You find yourself in a Land of Liars and Truth-Tellers while on your way to meet a mysterious friend who has invited you to meet him in one of the local villages.

As you journey along the jungle path to your destination, you come to a cross-roads. Being that there is no sign to correctly point you in the right direction of the village, and not knowing which path will take you to the village you are looking for, you decide to ask a native.

The thing about the natives is they all look exactly the same. They dress the same, talk the same, and will only ever answer one question from anyone else. The only difference is; one tribe will always tell you a lie, and the other will always tell you the truth.

Not knowing whether or not the native will tell you the truth or lie to you, what one question can you ask that will tell you the correct path to the village?

Which way will the other tribe tell me to go? Then go the opposite.

It's a question tangentially related to the original riddle.

Well then, questions should end in question marks, statements should end in periods. Your 3rd grade teacher would be ashamed

Indirect questions don't end with question marks. The question was "does anyone get this reference?" but was phrased indirectly.

But you're just mad that you're not getting the ammo

Source(s): the language we're discussing is named after the country that I'm from, therefore I win!

"Which way to your village" and then go the way he points.
