Done that, several times...Run the rope between the forks, by the triple tree, bring the end to the handlebar and hold it on the grip.
If necessary you let go of the rope and you are fine...Hey, I'm still in one piece!

It's much easier than towing someone with chains and they don't have a clue. "I didn't know you wanted my foot off the brake"
Only down side i see in the OP's picture is full helmet and shorts. Oh well what can you say about Leadwing riders
