While America does have it issues; IT IS STILL THE GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!

Australia? Canada? I can find one problem that makes me not want to be part of either...

I traveled to : Japan, Korea, Philippines, Mexico, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands and India. While not a whole lot, but I will tell you one thing; America kick ass on all of them and I would not want to live in any other country.....

We do have a problem and you can all start for voting him out! It would be a good start!

He pretty much sums it all up with truth and facts not just opinion! Maybe we aren't the greates country in the world, but it doesn't mean we can't be, or try to change and make it the best! Good post guys.

Really? He said the UK as an example of a free country as well. The country where a kid tweeted something mean to an athlete during the Olympics and was arrested? A country with some of the most strict gun laws is free to you?

Default This is Freedom of Speech?

I guess they mean you are free to leave, but not say what you believe. If you say what you believe and it does NOT go along with mainstream thought, you are at risk of being detained. The ruling class will find a loophole in the so called "law" to stop you from doing whatever it is that displeases them. Your belief that you are protected by the Constitution has been brainwashed into your head, but your only protection in reality is the willingness of other citizens to come to your defense. Don't get caught up in the hype...

A lot of this will depend on your definition of freedom I suppose as I would guess most people in this country would have varying views from someone in one of the other countries mentioned (especially people on this board hint, hint). I am not "brainwashed" into thinking the constitution has my back no matter what as legal precedent over the years has proved (in my opinion). I gave a couple of examples of what I believe are large parts of being free that some of those countries do not agree with, that is all. The bottom line is this is a television show, made to get ratings, of course they are going to try and stir the shit, that's what draws in the viewers and lines their pockets.

That being said, over all of the other countries named that are "free" by his definition I would 100% choose to live in the USA 7 days a week and twice on Sunday. You can tell me how great every other "sovereign state" is the best at something and I will encourage you to move there if you agree. Some of the statistics he said may be factual, other things he mentioned were just filler because the writer wanted to add more percentages into his rant to prove a point. "178th in infant mortality" hmmm, last I checked that's a good one to be a high ranking number on....

I would rather live in no other place as I have traveled extensively and while we do have our problems there are way more pros than cos living in the good ole US of A.

I posted the video as a topic of discussion, nothing more as I have never seen the show but it is always good to know what other people are thinking rather than just talking to everyone who agrees on everything. That is a boring and dangerous way to think.
