If the harassing is that bad, he should put a restraing order on her and half of his problems will be solve cause the crazy nut will violate it and be in jail.

It's really just harassment in the courts although, he has been the victim of of domestic violence from her in the past. She has a severe personality disorder and will likely not give up easily. Unfortunately, I don't think a restraining order will help with the court harassment. She makes over 150K/year and he's on unemployment and can't even afford his heart meds and she's continually dreaming up law suits because she know's he can't afford an attorney. That's why the question about pro bono or low cost legal help.

Color me skeptical, but this sounds like a load of sheet. Any good lawyer, or public defender for that matter, should be able to tackle this easily.

you can go to the VA no matter what, if you are honorably discharged. You will be given a certain classification, based on income, length of service, and level of need medically. I went for years before I was ever rated service connected. I know many people who go to the VA for medical care, who are not service connected. If you make a lot of money, you may have a co-pay. If you have a small need, you may have to wait a while for an appointment.

There are priority groups 1-8. If there is no Service connection, you will be in the 7 or 8 group, based on income.

these are the questions they ask FIRST. then it goes off of your need and income, but you will get in.

    • You were discharged or separated for medical reasons, early out, or hardship
    • You served in theater of combat operations within the past 5 years
    • You were discharged from the military because of a disability (not preexisting)
    • You are a former Prisoner of War
    • You received a Purple Heart Medal
    • You receive VA pension or disability benefits
    • You receive state Medicaid benefits
    • Served in the Republic of Vietnam from January 9, 1962 to May 7, 1975
    • Served in the Persian Gulf from August 2, 1990 to November 11, 1998
if none of the above is true, then it will be based on....

Do You Qualify For VA Health Care?

Based on the information you provided, your eligibility for VA health care benefits may be based on special factors such as military history factors or household income. We encourage you to apply now for VA health care benefits.
Submitting an application is the best way to find out if you qualify. Plus, if in the future new regulations take effect, VA will automatically reassess your application to determine if you qualify. If we have your application on file, we will be able to notify you if new rules make you qualified for health benefits in the future.

Agreed but lately ive seen more of the co-pays and longer waits depending on if your an OIF/OEF vet.I'd stay away from the VA unless you have to or your in the top tier.Do the walmart $5 co pay Also my VA Docs have recommended "special" CO drugs.
