I have seen a few Butthole stocks.

Is 922R a law or a made up ATF reg that never made it through a real legislative process? Funny how rules are made up by bureaucracies.

Thumbhole stock, not butthole

I had originally typed "asshole" stock but thought that I really don't want any ban hammers swinging in my direction. I do frequent some other firearms sites and they refer these stocks as "butthole" stocks more often than "thumbhole" stocks. So...........

how does he determine if the required 922 parts that are needed to make the switch legal, are actually mfgd in the U.S.A. Are they always marked accordingly?

We do have WECSOG although i doubt anyone with less than 10yrs on the boards knows what that means. I have been Jim on every board except GT. There it's jimc, some SOB took my name.
